We wash, size and grade our filter media to meet the stringent specifications of AWWA B-100 and ANSI standards for consistently uniform and chemically inert filter media. All products are certified under NSF-61 by the National Sanitation Foundation and are suitable for municipal wastewater treatment, drinking water systems, pool filter systems, residential and commercial well drilling, and environmental monitoring wells.
Our packaging center enables us to provide flexible,
cost effective solutions for you. We'll work with you to provide
mixed product orders by the truckload to optimize transport costs,
and generic or customized labeling is available. Our state-of-the-art
bagging and palletizing equipment enable us to pre-package and stockpile
large orders or quickly process emergency orders.

Sand is the leading producer of high quality sands in the New England
area. Incorporated in 1953 and moved to its current Slatersville,
RI location in 1988, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing
superior quality products and services. Our operations consist of
four main processing components: Wash Plant; Dryer Plant; Sports
Turf Production; and a Packaging Center. 
We
have a long history of producing sports turf products including
greens construction sands and maintenance sands. Careful screening,
washing, drying and blending produces sands of exceptional quality
for drainage layers, root zones, top dressings, divot mixes and
bunker sands.
